Lovely weekend with friends! Beautiful setting, lovely campsites with own ablutions! Worth a visit

We had such an amazing weekend at Kingfisher. We took our two dogs who had just as much fun! Chalet was comfortable and the walk to the waterfall was amazing! We will be back!

Wat n fantastiese plek vir n rustige wegbreek! Die omgewing is asemrowend en die staf is hartsmense wat soos ou vriende voel! My hondjie was in haar element met al die maatjies. Baie dankie aan Gary,Cat en res van personeel wat almal so tuis laat voel! My derde besoek is om die draai!

This is an absolute gem of a place. We went camping and the kids loved playing outside in the play area. The waterfall is a must visit. Remember to take your phone for spectacular photo's.

The owners and management of the lodge are wonderful, kind hearted people. Thank you for coming out to assist us at night with a broken down vehicle, you are proof that there are still good people out there👏 The lodge is well maintained, peaceful and absolutely beautiful...so tranquil and with good hospitality.. nothing more is needed 🙂 Thank you Hennie, Gary, and the rest of the team! Im missing some names, my apologies.. but also to the young friendly lad who made sure we settled in well!

What a gem in the mountains! Your own ablution as well 😀

Ons het einde Februarie 2023 vir n naweek daar gekamp met ons tent. Dit was n wonderlike ervaring met n veruklikke mooi rustige omgewing. Alles wat mens nodig het is daar en die restaurant is uitstekend. Die personeel is almal baie vriendelik en Hennie en Michelle ( die bestuurders) gaan uit hul pad om dit aangenaam te maak. Andre is n groot aanwins tot die oord. Die sondag namiddag het daar n verwoeste donderstorm uitgebreek met bome wat ontwortel is. Gary, die eienaar, het kom aanbied dat ons liewer in een van die chalets gaan oornag as om in die tent te wees. Hulle het ons gratis die nag daar gehuisves. Baie dankie vir n wonderlike tydjie en ons kom beslis weer soontoe

We had such a great experience here again the last 10days camping!! This place is just magical and with such a charm! We once again loved every moment even with the few days bad weather we enjoyed playing games in front of the fireplace! Thank you team Kingfisher for making it so special! What a wonderful spot indeed. Came here 20odd years ago and it has lost none of its charm and beauty even as it has been developed into a more family friendly location. Gary is an amazing host and really makes his guests feel welcome in a truly relaxing atmosphere. The trout fishing dams are spectacular and we had a lot of fun learning how to fly fish. Would honestly rate this as one of the best spots we’ve ever holidayed at with the most amazing views. Chalets are clean and neat and are also very spacious for the family units. The restaurant and bar are self service with an honesty system that is very convenient. Will for sure be coming back to this little gem tucked away in the Mpumalanga mountains. PS: best ever is that we had zero load shedding in 4 days!! What a bonus.
